Being one of those paper sniffing guys, I’ve always had a love for books and all the intricate details that set them apart. After studying Graphic Design in Ghent, I started my career in 2002 at Clavis Publishing, Belgium's biggest publisher of children's books and young adult novels with offices in Hasselt, Amsterdam and New York. And so I became one of those lucky designers who got to design a whole lot of books and book covers and all the marketing collateral that came with them.

In 2007 I started freelancing at night, making even more book covers, until I finally left Clavis Publishing and opened up my own studio in late 2010. Since then, I’ve worked with publishers like Querido, WPG, Manteau, Lannoo, Davidsfonds Uitgeverij, Houtekiet, Linkeroever, Uitgeverij Emanuel, ASP, VUBPress, Acco, Lemniscaat/ABCyourself, De Eenhoorn, De Boekerij, University Press Antwerp, Ilex Press and Acco. Below is a selection of the book covers I designed up until today. If you’re a publisher looking for a book designer, do get in touch. I’d love to design some more.
